| 40 tonne crane juggernaut with a boom length of 20 metres which was
re-constructed onto turbine-driven pontoons. At the end of the boom, a patented floating injection tool of 1.5 tons scouts the sediment yoghurt, at the same time injecting and mixing a patented natural catalytic biocomposite below the sediment surface. This biocomposite actively converts harmful pollutants in the sediment matrix such as polychlorinated biphenyls or other halogenated organic molecules into eco-friendly biodegradable end-products. |
